Bringing in the Newcomer

[Aza]

Lust at last slowed her pace, the sound of the watering hole and chattering of forest creatures everywhere. She at last stopped glancing over her shoulder, swaying hips and elegant legs accompanying her on her walk to the pond. She bowed her head to the water, drinking with a dainty tongue. Bright gold eyes looked her reflection in the eyes, studying her appearance with a cynical gaze.

[Dusty]

Reno padded into the area after her. He then swept up and sat beside her. He didnt say anything just waited. Waited for either her to talk or for the Alpha to show. Reno looked around. This place was peaceful ... He didnt like it. Reno liked adventure. A place were he could have fun. Not peace. No not for him. He let out a sigh as he waited more ...

[Aza]

Her eyes slid to glance at Reno. Already, he seemed to be uncomfortable. She let a scowl crease her muzzle, "More like bored, but I don't dare take a newcomer near his pup. Lust finished her drink, swinging around to face Reno. She tilted her head so she could look to him, friendly smile replacing the frown and nothing but cheerifulness and innocence shining from her bright gold eyes.

"I'm going to call up Raikin. I'm certain he'd like to meet you," Lust said at last, taking a step away from Reno before throwing up her head. A raspy, haunting howl escaped her throat, cracking voice calling for Raikin to meet the newcomer. She felt heat come to her cheeks and she automatically tilted her head to face the ground and curling her tail around her.

"I'm not to swell at howling..."

[Dusty]

Reno nodded his head to her as he said "Do as you please" He then waited for the howl to escape and the alpha to come. He heard the raspy howl and it made a cold shiver go down his spine. Then saying "No!. It was ok for a howl" He said looking to her with a smile.

[Aza]

She was about to reply with his last statment with a cheeky 'I know' but she bit her tongue. That smile told her something about what he liked in a female. Well, she had to simply use her guessing skills, but she assumed it was the shy yet kind type of wolves.
"Thank you,"
She replied softly, lifting her head slowly and smiling. "Nothing much to do but wait...anything you want as we're here without an alpha breathing over our shoulders?

[Dusty]

Reno gave her a slight nodd as he said "No problem" as she then asked him the her question he thought for a moment. What did he want to do? Really he didnt even know why he was here. For infact Reno had never lived in a pack before. This was very odd for him. It was like this wolf had cast a spell upon him. Like he was a puppet that would listen to her every command. He shook the thought away and said "Ugh. Not really. I'll do what ever it is that you would"

He thought for a moment as the words left his maw. Why had he said those words. He should have answered with "Let me go away. I do not wish to join a pack" but yet he didnt. She did have him in a spell. Although he didnt fully know it. Or trust himself for that matter. He shook the thought away once again as he told himself "Now Reno you just being foolish. Why would a beautiful wolf as she , have to put a spell on you? Stop your foolish ways and be a gentleman"

[Aza]

A grin grew one sided and a thoughtful look came over her. What were they to do? She was unsure how long Raikin would take. "Doesn't really matter does it though. It's not like he would wait for us to finish whatever we were doing," she thought ruefully, unbending her legs and searching around.
"Let's just go for a hunt. That'd be...safe enough," she suggested, already trailing off to the thicker of the bushes around. They would just hunt around here, she decided, feeling much to sloth-like to wander over to the actual hunting grounds of Mist Pack. "I doubt we'll find anything big around here, so just turn your attention to the smaller prey," she warned, breaking through the walls of the bushes, only to have her head appear again to see if he had followed.

[Dusty]

Once again with out thinking, he gave her a responce in which she would have intended to hear "As you wish." He then trotted on after her. After a while he crouched low to the ground. He pinned his ears back low to the top of his crown. His eyes quckly scanned the ground for a mouse or rabbit. Then the golden orbs spotted one. The foolish white rabbit was sitting upon a green leaf pile eatting a peice of clover grain.

Reno began to stalk to the prey. He walked lighting upon his paws, as a cat does, when he was close enough he lundged for the prey. With a quick bite of the neck the large snow shoe rabbit fell limp in his jaws. Reno pranced over to the she wolf and said "For you M'lady. As Im not a member of this pack yet. It would be wrong for me to eat the prey" Reno then dipped his head and backed away. He waited for her to eat, while at the same time he waited for Raikin.

It was like one half of Reno was saying 'Run. Just get away from here, before you fall into a trap. You dont know these lands well enough yet. Lay low for awhile then deside' yet the other half was saying 'Just go with the flow. Every thing will go fine' Reno didnt know what to think. He was confused. He let out a sigh to the evil yet confusing thoughts.

[Aza]

Lust was left walking behind him a safe distance and watching as he leaped onto the rabbit. He's a good hunter, her mind commented, watching as the rabbit fell limp in his jaws. She watched as he neared him with the dead beast, wondering how to deal with the moment coming up. Her blazing eyes watched the size of the rabbit from a distance, mind groping for words.

"You're such a sweetheart, Reno, but please, if you're hungry, eat," Lust assured, continuing after a pause, "I'll finish it off once you have your fill. And trust me, I'm certain Raikin won't care if you eat it."

Alright, the last one was a complete lie, but she was certain she could coax the sweeter side of Raikin if it came to such matters. Always scheming, Lust was. "I hope he takes a while to eat..." her mind mentioned dully. Her golden eyes looked to Reno for a reaction, haunches lowering to the ground.

[Dusty]

"Well ... " The temptation was to hard to resist. "If you insist" Reno said walking up to the rabbit. He pulled off a 'small' bit for himself. He took it with him and settled down to eat. Before eatting he said "This is all I want. The rest if for you, and of course Raikin" He then dipped his head and began to eat the meat. He soon finished. It was really good meat. After all Snow shoe hare was his favorite type of meat. It was juicy and just plain good

[LazyAza]

She smiled as she neared, the corners sinking slowly as she saw how much he took. "Hopefully Raikin comes soon," she thought sulkily, plastering the shy smile on her face. "Thank you," she said at last, lying down to enjoy this meal. Her muzzle picked out small bites, eating it daintly and being careful not to stain anything but her teeth with blood. The meat was good, she had to admit. Where she lived, such a breed of rabbit didn't exsist.

[Lazy Raikin]

"WHAT THE EFF IS GOING ON HERE?!" A tremendous voice boomed. A large mountain lion slunk out of the shadows and stood, looming over Reno. ((Sorry its so short...))

[Aza]

"Nothing much, sweetheart. This guest came, wishing to join your pack. Peacefully and without force," Lust told, the shy girl act shedding off to reveal a strong and very feminime voice. Her gold eyes hardly even glanced to Reno, not wanting to see a reaction to her sudden change in personality. The grey wolf rose, watching the large cat hang over Reno. She just lowered to her haunches again, seemingly uncaring of the danger she had placed this new wolf in. She tried to match with Raikin's blood red eyes, still the same colour as they were in wolf form. "Our guest is quite the hunter as well, as you can see," she continued, a drawl ringing in her throat. She would have to play her cards right, or else there were possiblilities this would be her last night alive, last night without a permenant injury, last night without pups...well really, last night without something or other happening.

||Raikin! I was worried about you. I didn't see you around for awhile.||

[Raikin]

|Yes, I'm back now though.|

"Oh really? And why is he eating... ON MY LAND?!!!!" He boomed, glaring at the fea coldly.

[Dusty]

"Whoo man cool off already" Reno said sitting up. He looked to Lust then back to Raikin. Who was a mountain lion. This confused Reno very much. Why was a mountain lion the leader of a group of wolves. Creepy if you ask him. "Take a chill pill already. Dont take this out on her. Not like shes done anything" He paused for a moment and chose his words carefully "See I was on the beach. Some other wolf, my sis, and I were talking. Not to mention that wolf was really odd. Anyways. Lust came over and started talking to the other wolf. Dont remember his name but I think he was your betta" Reno paused again. Thinking he had said the wrong thing by calling this lions betta odd. "Well after that Lust took me under her wing and told me to come here. She said this would be a good pack land for me to live in" , "So then we came here. She called for you and time grew on and you still werent here. So she suggested we hunt. Well I cought your snoe shoe hare and gave it to your lady over there. Lust. Well she said she didn't want it all and offered me some. I didn't see the harm in it. And Im truely sorry for that"

When Reno was done with his story he quickly added "By the way. Names Reno" He then dipped his head to the lion in respect
