Rain stopped eatting her meal as she lifted her head. She finshed her last bite then began to talk "Oh sorry. How rude of me. Names Rain" She then said "And that pup that was just ... taken. Was Spitz" She then looked to her last pup and said "Yet I have failed to name this pup yet. I was so caught up in the moment I didnt have the time ... any suggestions?" Rain said looking to the female with a hint of a sparkle in her eyes.
Rain was always more confortable around females. To males she would just smart off, and wolves like Raikin gave her a reason to. She shook the thought away and returned to Meeko with a full attention

Meeko chuckled "I don't know...why ask me? I'm not good with names..." she paused for a moment "I dunno, how 'bout Oshimitsu?"she suggested, unsure. Apparently this she-wolf wasn't too worried about her lost pup, so why should she? Meeko roughly got to her paws and padded out of the burrow "I'll go kill off a few birds" she barked over her shoulder before disappearing out of the burow.
Returning soon after Meeko reappeared at the entrance with her jaws filled with different sizes of birds and the best part of it was was that the birds' flesh was not punctured so there was no blood that would stain the feathers. "Here" she barked, dropping a few birds infront of Rain "Pluck the feathers and toss them into the antlers" she instructed. Meeko dropped the rest of the birds infront of herself, then bounded out again, only to return quickly. Meeko limped back to where the nest sat with one massive forepaw covered in tree sap "This should help the feathers stick better" and with that she quickly spred the sap over the parts of the antlers which faced in.

"Good name" She then watched as she exited and re entered the cave. Taint gave a smile and did as she was instructed. She plucked the feathers, tossed the feathers into the nest and tossed to the naked bird to another. As she cleaned the birds she thought about Spitz. She couldnt help but wonder if he was alive. She let out a sigh as she continued to pluck the birds.
Taint finally reached to the last one and cleansed it all. She then did as she always did and tossed the feathers to the nest and the bird to another pile. She then looked to Oshimitsu and said "Come on Oshumitsu. Come to your new nest" She then waited for the 2 month old pup to do as he was told "Come on Oshey. Come get in your nest before you freeze to death out here" She then pointed with her tail to the nest so he would know what she meant.

Meeko did the same, plucked each birds' feathers off and tossed them into the nest, then tossed the bird off to the side.
The small pup dazily dragged himself over to his mother then looked to where her tail was pointing. Oshimitsu rocked side-to-side and tilted his head in wonder. A cute puppy grin streaked across his muzzle as he wandered over to the nest-shaped antlers. The wolf pup grabbed one end of the nest with his tiny claws and was scrabbling into the nest when it suddenly flipped. Landing on top of him, the pup let out a startled whimper and pushed the nest toward his mother blindly, following her sweet scent. "Mommy? Where are you? It's dark" he squeaked to Rain. He let out a soft giggle and started to run around in circles, chasing his tail under the antlers. Oshimitsu rolled onto his back and began to playfully swat the feathers on the bottom of the nest until "Achoo!" he sneezed, lifting the nest for a brief moment. He giggled and lay a forepaw close to the end of his muzzle. Oshimitsu got to his paws, looked out from a small space between the ground and the nest. "I see you mommy" he giggled.

Rain looked to her pup as he did as he was told. She then let out a slight giggle as the nest flipped over on top of him. Rain stood up and grabbed the nest and pulled it off of him. She then gentely sat it back down, right side up. "I see you to" Rain said looking from the nest to her pup

Oshimitsu let out a loud giggle and rocked on his haunches. In a single leap, the pup rolled into the middle of the nest "Wow! Its so soft" he giggled, rubbing his cheek up and down the sides of the nest. Stretching across the nest, the pup rocked the nest back and forth "Weeee!" he howled happily. With that he circled inside the nest and curled up into a small ball of fur. "This is great mommy!" he paused for a momnt and looked around oddly "Where's Spitz mommy?" he asked with a worried look "He didn't die did he?" he asked shakily as he looked up to his mother. He felt lonely, being the only pup.....
Tilting his head to the side he brightened and jumped up excitedly "Meeko! Do you have any pups?" he asked hopefully with an excited smile and his eyes sparkling in anticipation.
Taken aback at the pups sudden question, the dark she-wolf lashed her tail to the side "I'm not an easy catch" she snapped straightening. "Wolves have died trying so don't count on it any time soon" she growled
Shocked by the wolves reaction the pup cowered in one side of the nest. "Take it easy! It was jsut a question" Oshimitsu spat back and looked to his mother sadly. His tail drooped and his eyes fell to the bottom of the nest.

"Well Ugh, Well, Lets see" Rain said uneasily. It was easier to talk to an adult wolf about a pup being stollen. But telling this to your own pup was harder. She was happy when he just ignored the question and began to talk to Meeko. As he gave her a rude comment Rain spat to him "Tell Meeko your sorry" ... "NOW". This pup, yes would grow up like these two. With a sharp tongue. But he would learn to hold it when around them.

The small pup glared at his mother defiantly, tossed his head to the side, and held it high proudly. "No" he replied in shear defiance.
Meeko couldn't help but chuckle lightly to herself, this pup had quite the little attitude that was certain. "You should soon learn you place young one" she growled, raising her lips in a sneer.
Oshimitsu snorted in even more defiance than before. He still remained proud and showed no sign of fear. "And you best learn yours, Meeko" he snickered back at the dark she-wolf.
Meeko ignored the pup's remark "Belive what you want" she replied calmly "I couldn't care less" she chuckled aloud so the pup could hear her.
"Fine then, I will" he snorted

Rain just sighed and simply rolled her eyes to her pup. Like Meeko said he would soon enough learn his place. Rain then said in a harsh tone "Keep it up and I'll send you to live with Raikin. No telling what he shall do to you there" Rain was going to us Raikin as a ghost story to her little one. Hey he was a use after all. Not as bad as she thought he was ....
"Have I told you the story of him?" Rain said lifting a brow

Lifting a brow as his mother did, the pups curiousity was perked "No" he tilted his head to the side and got into a comfortable position to hear this new story. His eyes sparkled in anticipation.
Rolling her eyes, Meeko got to her paws "I'll be right back" she grunted and disappeared out of the tunnel. 'As if I don't know enough about him' she growled angrily in her head 'That wolf is like a fricken horny pup on the rampage! Flirting and mating with every she-wolf that happens to cross his path!' Her fur stood on end furiously 'What I wouldn't give to rip his throat out!'

Rain let out a chuckle to Meeko. She called out to her in a kidding tone "Aw Meeko your going to miss your fav. story" Rain let out a chuckle then turned back to her pup to tell the tale of Raikin. "Alright. So you want to hear the tall tale of Raikin do ya? Well then I'll tell it ..."
"There Once was a wolf that went by the name of Raikin. Well he was a mangey old brute. He was technically dead. Well he had the power to morph into any creature he pleases. Thats how he caught me ..."
Rain paused for a moment to let it all sink in. She then began again quick and fast
"He caught me and we got into a fight. I tried to kill him, but failed. He tried to kill me, but failed as well. Well after that was all over and done I had you. Well you and Spitz. Unfortunately Raikin heard the news as well.
So he stalked in through the shadows. I didn't even know he was there. Then in a spit second I saw a bear paw swoop in and take Spitz. How did I know it was him. I could hear his evil laugh ringing in the distance" , "For that is the Tale of evil Raikin."
"So If your ever out late at night alone. I would watch out for he might"
She paused and couldn't help herself. The moment was just to perfect
"Get ya" She yelled to him as she made a small lunge to her son.

Oshimitsu leaned in closer, ears pricked in interest "So what your saying is that he took my brother?" his eyes flashed briefly with fury, then it disappeared. "So why did he want him in the first place? And why didn't he take us both?" he asked curiously, why take only one?
He jumped in suprise when his mother lunged at him. He rolled onto his back and laughed. Oshimitsu rubbed one paw over his muzzle, then got back to his paws. "Wow, he seems like a challenger" he giggled sarcastically.
